Field Trip: Jay Farrar

I don't think I'll go see Jay Farrar/Son Volt again. He's a terrific song writer, and I really like his records. But, he's just not a very good performer. A couple of thank yous for coming were the extent of his interaction with the crowd. And, his vocals lack range, so after a few songs everything sounds the same.

I'll keep buying his records (mp3s) though.
